Key Responsibilities and Duties :
- Monitoring and ensuring regulatory and compliance requirements especially labour law compliances, FSSAI etc. applicable to our business operations
- Prepare and control regulatory compliance policies and protocols on behalf of the organization
- Coordinate and procure all relevant licenses and registrations in relation to the activities of the organization, ensure renewal of licenses and compliances thereof
- Liaison with government authorities and law enforcement agencies
- To maintain records of all inspections and regulatory compliances
- Remain up to date on central and state laws applicable to the business operations
- Engage with relevant teams to educate them on latest regulations and processes required to be
compliant with laws
- Develop and implement a compliance program to ensure the organization operates in accordance with all applicable local and central laws
What are we looking for :
- Domain knowledge of logistics and warehousing, information technology and privacy guidelines, labour law regulations, FSSAI and legal metrology.
- Able to demonstrate a high level of independent reasoning, excellent analytical judgment and a strong business acumen
- Must have experience supporting multiple matters simultaneously
- Must be a strong communicator and capable of expressing oneself clearly both speaking and in
writing
- Problem solver, ability to handle the role independently and take decisions
- Possess a collaborative personality and be open to suggestions from team members and work closely with cross functional teams
- Strong time management and organizational skills and able to meet deadlines with startup agility
- Strong mix of legal, technical, and business acumen
