Roles & Responsibility :

1. Understand the regulations governing the Insurance industry.

2. Periodical compliance audit of different functions of the unit.

3. Effective liaison with various departments within the company to gain support and resolve issues.

4. To undertake legal structuring of transactions and relationships and advise business operations on legal and compliance issues.

5. Ensure active management of communication to stakeholders.

6. Proactively identify problems and present solutions.

7. To undertake legal structuring of transactions and relationships and advise business operations on legal and compliance issues.

8. Liaise with external counsels for opinions and maintain/ update databases of all opinions.

9. To review and vet contracts/ agreements and ensure quality checks (i.e. compliance with regulatory prescriptions).

10. To handle legal queries independently and deal with legal compliance and vetting of documents.
