- Managing various compliances in relation to the AIF, including compliance with securities law, company law, taxation, and other applicable laws. - Coordinating with the relevant stakeholders to prepare compliance reports and/or audits - Coordinating with the relevant stakeholders to prepare compliance reports and/or audits and filing monthly/quarterly reports with SEBI. - Preparing and filing applications with SEBI and coordinating with SEBI officials to obtain registrations. - Proactively responding to and resolving queries raised by business teams. - Developing and implementing policies, procedures, other documents and establishing and maintaining processes and controls governing business activities, such as manuals, codes of conduct, practice notes, and the likes, to comply with applicable laws, rules, and regulations. - Providing comprehensive support during regulatory audits, inspections, and queries - Coordinating with internal auditors to provide data and clarifications and assisting in statutory, internal, and special audits by collating data and conducting a preliminary review - Preparing agenda and minutes of the IM Board for AIF business activities - Establish and maintain a robust compliance monitoring program to ensure ongoing adherence, including preparing trackers and monitoring and updating all compliance requirements. - Collaborate and provide guidance and support to internal teams, including investment, legal, and operations, regarding compliance requirements and regulatory matters. - Liasoning with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, SEBI, and other related bodies for compliance and other associated issues and resolution of their queries. - Stakeholder management in the AIF with the trustee, custodian, contributors, etc. - Preparing a repository for all AIF documents. - Research and circulate internally any legal and regulatory updates relevant to the AIF every week.
