Legal Advisor - FMCG

- Rendering advice on legal issues involving contracts, litigations, registrations and compliances in areas of corporate and economic legislations ;

- Advising and Directing on various corporate legal matters with an emphasis on corporate laws, commercial and finance transactional areas keeping in view company's policies and risk tolerance.

- Overseeing Company's compliance program, maintain the tracker to ensure timely compliances, ensuring periodical sign-off from functional heads;

- Spearheading various tasks related to Mergers, Joint Ventures and other forms of re-structuring of Indian entities.

- Controlling the Intellectual Property matters entailing filing, obtaining registrations in coordination with national attorneys.

- Representation before regulatory bodies, judicial and otherwise in terms of compliances, obtaining necessary consents and permissions.

- Litigations in respect of recovery matters, contractual disputes and other civil and criminal matters before various judicial authorities, including by way of amicable settlement under alternate dispute resolution methods such arbitration and conciliation proceedings.

- Documentations in terms of drafting, vetting of Sales Deeds, MOU, NDAs, Lease and Licensing arrangements.

- Building the compliance system and tracking the same within the company.
