Role: Associate Partner - Infrastructure development and Empowerment (Education solutions)

- Research & Advocacy - Trusted advisor on education strategy development, enabling systemic changes, and policy reforms in the ecosystem

Learning Links Foundation has the experience of working in 23+ states and Union Territories in India. Presently, we are operating through direct MoUs with many state governments.

Job Brief:

Infrastructure development and Empowerment (Education solutions) is a relatively new and extremely important vertical at LLF.

This initiative has the vision to not only provide learning opportunities but also to install adequate infrastructure to ensure a perfect learning environment in schools.

IDE Lead will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategy that facilitates and drives infrastructural development and capacity building in line with the Foundation's vision and the requirements of relevant Projects.

Collaborate effectively with people at all levels and interact with a diverse group of individuals, internally and externally, to ensure that the organization's engagement and commitments are sincerely and practically made and achieved.

Preference will be given to an applicant who has experience in the field of Social and infra development, image presentations, designing educational content and strategizing business volume enhancement of the organization in terms of revenue and recognition.

Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Development & Empowerment (50% of the time)

- Strategise infrastructure development project enhancement strategies and programs for Learning Link Foundation's portfolio, in line with HR and Organization strategy.

- Conceptualize innovative methods in line with global trends to address the infrastructure development vis-a-vis capacity building needs to formulate comprehensive ID&E plans and proposals

- Identify current and future developmental needs at the individual level, and capacity building requirements at the institutional level

- Drive and facilitate implementation of ID&E to ensure process driven engagement and execution with measurable impact as outcome of the efforts.

- Drive and maintain keen understanding of learning & development trends, developments and best practices supported by proof of execution in terms of authentic beneficiary feedback.

- Design an SOP that involves full cycle of conceptualization to closure of project including periodical and closure project report

- Be a mentor for the team at all levels and create organic leadership pipelines and functional experts

- Prevent and manage organizational risk, establish and drive compliance procedures, and establish/approve organizational/operational policies in the designated scope.

- Exemplify a desired culture and vision of the Foundation in individual capacity and through the programs imparted

- Develop next line of leaders in the organization

- Be ready to travel at short notices

Manage Project based Requirements (45% of the time)

- Responsible & accountable for heading the Infrastructure and educational empowerment project/s

- Build and execute project implementation Strategy

- Plan and design content and calendar for training interventions based on insightful TNA (training needs analysis) as may be available

- Build capacity of project team personnel

- Mentor, Encourage & handhold the team/s to develop & grow so that they are able to engage in higher roles and responsibilities in the organisation.

- Evaluate the effectiveness of programs and team/s and suggest empowerment procedures/ooportunities

- Conduct Training Needs Analysis using both structured and informal methods to capture requirements of the beneficiaries of the programs conducted by the Foundation - this could include youth, teachers, school leaders, etc

- Work closely with Project teams and create infra installation plans, lead in designing of relevant content, design training calendar with mechanism to deploy by engaging with central and local authorities

- Design project budgets and keep operations in line with budget allocations.

- Ensure strong governance and quality control by establishing robust processes including observation visits, tracking of implementation through review of MIS and strong reporting processes

- Build and manage PR with all relevant government authorities, funders, infrastructure partners and future partners

- Develop Budgets & analyse expense & variance statement on monthly basis.

Learning Links Foundation Ambassador Role (5% of the time)

- Create and grow Brand Learning Links Foundation through campaigns alongwith the Communications Team

- Represent Learning Links at various reputed fora and showcase the uniqueness of the organization

- Protect and promote the organization's brand, reputation and values, outside and inside the organization.

- Demonstrate Learning Links values and role model behavior in day to day conduct

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

- A bachelors' degree in Organizational Design/ Education/ Business Administration OR equivavlent

- 5-7 years of progressive experience in the field of educational training

- 1-2 years experience in infrastructure development in academia

- Experience in working under remote access/online environment resultantly expert in online mode of forms/documentation and reporting applications like salesforce etc.

- Experience in developing curriculum and familiarity with contemporary issues in Indian education

- Exposure to working in an organization involved in education or training would be an added advantage

- Experience in developing training curriculum and familiarity with contemporary issues in Indian education

Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication/presentation skills

- Experience of leading a diverse team and managing multiple requests from partners

- Demonstrated ability to communicate and influence at senior leadership levels.

- Excellent track record in developing and executing successful educational programs

- Familiar with traditional and modern training processes

- Entrepreneurial attitude with a willingness and ability to build systems and processes, work independently, bring structure, as well as think and act creatively.

- Resourceful team player with the flexibility to travel
