About the Role :
We are looking for a Manager who will be accountable for the HR Operations role at Leap. We are looking for a dynamic individual who can create and execute processes to improve efficiency.
The charter for this role will include:
- Ensuring accurate / timely monthly payroll processing while maximising efficiencies, maintaining operational standards and adhering to department policies and procedures.
- Handling employee benefits administration- Group Health Insurance, Personal Accident Insurance, Covid - 19 Insurance, monthly addition & deletions.
- Implementing Flexi benefits and tax saving components like -Food wallet, Car lease, periodicals, etc.
- Provide timely response to inquiries from HR, accounting, managers, employees, government, and other third-party agencies utilising knowledge and interpretation of policies, procedures, and legislation.
- Oversee processing of payroll changes (e.g. new hires, terminations, raises) and system upgrades
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and internal policies. Supervise and coach payroll team. Liaise with auditors and manage payroll tax audits.
- Handle employee queries and arrange org wide open sessions for all the team members quarterly.
- Reviews, analyses and verifies payroll reports and documents for accuracy makes necessary adjustments or corrections through journal entries or other established procedures.
- Analyzes and responds to complex matters requiring comprehensive knowledge of payroll policies and procedures authorises exceptions to the policy within defined limits.
- Streamlining the salary advance/loan policy.
- Managing the HRMS system
Ideal Persona :
- Minimum 5 years in an HR Operations role (in a fast paced startup environment)
- High proficiency in MS excel and Google sheets
- Startup experience and managing a headcount of more than 1000 is mandatory
- Everyone at Leap is entrepreneurial, moves fast, and operates with extreme ownership.
- There is minimal management and extreme autonomy.
