Lean Specialist - Print/Publishing

We are assisting one of our Print and Publishing global leader client for a Lean Specialist role.

1.Lead on implementing a Lean based production system in green field plant

2.Leading role in problem management, project coaching/mentoring and training

3.Implement shop floor management systems for staffing, planning and visual management together with local Engineers/Managers

4.Learning-by-doing (training combined with hands-on improvement)

5.Support plant launch project manager and plant director in project management, prioritizing initiatives and organization establishment.

Experience-

1.At least 8 years of experience in Lean associated work or processes in manufacturing

2.An entrepreneurial leader who has implemented Lean from scratch. But equally, a leader who has strong general management and operational skills.

3.In-depth understanding and demonstrated experience one of the following: software engineering, manufacturing, mechanical and industrial engineering.

4.Demonstrated ability to multitask in a dynamic international environment

5.Prior experience as an engineer/manager in a manufacturing environment

6.Experience from working in a global environment with multi-cultural teams

7.Ability to travel approximately 30% on average

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

1.Multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment

2.Extended travel to global offices in initial stages for training purposes

3.Extremely flexible work hours allowing interaction with various team members who will work in opposite time zone as well as providing on call support

4.Ability to react quickly in an ever-changing environment

5.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

6.Strong documentation and organizational skills

7.Able to work autonomously
