Job Description :

Mandatory :

- Lean Manufacturing

- Process Innovations - Cost, Productivity and Quality improvement

- Experience in automobile manufacturing sector pref from OEMs

- ERP exposure in logistics / manufacturing

Desirable :

- Lean Practitioner, Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Certificate

Detailed Description of the Duites :

- Study "As Is" state of a manufacturing/ logistics process and propose "To Be" state to improve cost, productivity and quality

- Ability to conceptualize with hands-on experience in implementing innovations in manufacturing areas like injection moulding, paint shop and assembly lines

- Deliver training on Lean Manufacturing concepts like OEE, Kanban, JIT, DOL, Waste Elimination, Inventory control etc.

- Suggest and implement "Low Cost Automation" improvement initiatives

- Ability to participate in "Return On Investment" calculations and prepare justifications of Savings in relation to Cost incurred

- Co-ordinate and follow up with manufacturing, supply chain, IT and other functions for timely execution of automation and ERP system related improvement solutions

- Ability to work within a cross functional team dedicated for improvement projects and develop self capability to manage a small team of improvement experts

- Willing to learn new processes and technologies and readiness to travel across India / Overseas locations

- Ability to interact effectively with employees across all the levels i.e. from shopfloor till senior management

- Conversant with process mapping tools like MS Visio and statistical tools like MINITAB etc.

- Possess good project management skills with maintaining master list of projects

- Possess good presentation and interpersonal skills
