Job position - Legal Head Our client is a Global financial services company (NBFC). Location - Mumbai (BKC) Job Responsibility : - Handle all the matters against the Management and all Critical situation of the Sector Personally. - Contributed to the base line of the Company through legal recoveries in BD cases. - Provided required Legal Tools to the Recovery Team, in accordance to the facts of the cases. Supported NPA team in resolution of the NPA accounts. - Designed the review mechanism, process and policies for reviewing the in house and Advocates team for increasing the results and to handle Bulk Litigation. - Working out measures for reducing litigation expenses and effectuating plans to achieve a faster closure of cases. - Conducting extensive research work, identifying laws, managing procedural aspects in various courts and interacting with Advocates &amp; Solicitors by giving them instructions to prepare for trials. - Provide support to HR &amp; Admin, for preparation of necessary policies as applicable to the Industry. - Vetting of agreements, deeds and other documents - Supporting and analyzing investigations made by various divisions and advising to management to enable it to formulate statutory compliant policies - Lead various legal &amp; statutory matters like preparation of replies of the complaints filed by Shareholders and other parties; attending the legal proceedings of the cases such as civil, criminal and consumer cases - Steering various matters related with due diligence required by Financial Institutions, Banks &amp; Investors - Guiding parties to mutually beneficial settlements to avoid court battles - Solving consumer issues on pre litigation stage only.
