Leadership Role - Packaging - FMCG

We have been retained by one of our FMCG Clients to recruit for the following position.

Position: Leadership role in Packaging

Location: Kolkata

KRA's:

- Understands the strategic priorities of Innovation function and provides inputs for packaging innovation/ packaging development factoring the consumer's mindset and needs

- Identifies areas of improvement in packaging development and suggests methods for improving the cost, quality, product positioning and reducing gaps and delays

- Ensures adherence to all protocols related to product & process specifications for packaging innovation/ development activities

- Focuses on improving operational efficiency through better utilization of available resources/ infrastructure as well as technology

- Co-ordinates with Operations & Projects for transfer of process and packaging knowledge both for piloting and mass productions

- Ensures regular updation of instituted knowledge management systems to reduce redundancy of efforts in departmental processes

- Drives a culture of performance amongst subordinates - Set goals, review and manage performance, guide and counsel and provide feedback on performance so as to ensure a motivated and committed team

- Takes responsibility of improving profitability by identifying cost reduction opportunities through appropriate and timely information support and analysis

Desired:

- 15-20 years in Packaging with at least 7 years in a position of similar responsibility

- Post Graduate/ Graduate
