Role: FP&A Pricing (Leadership Role)
Education: CA qualified
Experience: 13+ Years (Post CA)
Extensive experience in IT Infrastructure Pricing/Large Complex Deals required.
The FP&A is the primary business partner for the BU Leadership. He/She works closely with the BU Leader to establish, monitor, and drive improvement in the Financial & Operational metrics demonstrating value creation in the business unit. He/She will influence the strategic direction of the business by providing insightful financial information and analysis to decision makers.
Core Responsibilities
- Participate in business unit strategic/long-term planning efforts
- Provide timely and decision-oriented analysis of all meaningful investments by business unit
- Identify meaningful external and internal events and trends and incorporate them into the business unit decision process
- Drive timely submission of high-quality budgets and financial plans
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reports are provided to business unit and finance management, with issues and actions identified
- Manage and review all deal pricing for the BU through the team working with him/her.
- Identify and implement efficiencies in the organization's routine efforts
- Ensure compliance to GAAP and corporate guidelines as appropriate
- Manage and develop the FP&A Team working with him/her
Required Skills and Competencies
- Able to establish and grow business partner relationships with senior executives
- Excellent Communication and Presentation skills
- Able to build skills in individuals and to foster teamwork with direct and indirect staff
- Comfortable with leading change and influencing difficult decisions
- Highly developed analytical skills
- In depth knowledge of deal pricing and SoW clauses in the IT domain and ability to manage large RFPs
- Depth of knowledge on financial concepts and appropriate accounting issues
- Demonstrated broad business acumen and sound judgment
