Job Description
- Be a part of strategic initiatives to improve service, solutions and processes designed to support the Alternatives Business
- Attend client meetings and address project inquiries as an Operations Subject Matter Expert covering a wide variety of topics related to the project in scope
- Actively participate in defining the future state of Alternatives Operations from a functional, technology and location perspective.
- Conduct end to end reviews of all processes and procedures with a focus to remediate any control gaps and to improve efficiency, capacity and quality
- Manage key performance indicators to ensure exception levels remain within or below targets. Continued focus on eliminating root causes creating exceptions
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal clients and operational groups
- Assist in recruitment, development and retention of diverse talent, ensuring that they fully appreciate the financial and client implications of the products and services supported
Qualifications
- Ability to drive and adapt to a rapidly changing business and technological environment
- Broad experience within financial operations with a particular emphasis on end to end processing
- Strong knowledge and detailed understanding of the securities industry and products
- Strong verbal/written communication and influencing skills
- Demonstrated project management experience across organizational boundaries
- Ability to work in high-pressure situations with outstanding time management and prioritization techniques
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills to resolve issues and set direction
- Ability to develop good relationships with and gain the confidence of internal clients
