Role :

- Role to develop a strong connect with different the team on-site and carry out and guide Local team a variety of technical tasks / projects for different geographies within the assigned region.

- Expected to develop expertise in costing/underwriting methodologies, costing tools, (re)insurance products and markets knowledge applied in each local local underwriting desk of region.

- Will be an integral part of the Insurance Underwriting and work actively within a cross-functional team, particularly with various underwriting teams.

- Assist individual casualty treaty account costing/underwriting for the assigned region.

- Engage in underwriting related activities including but not limited to portfolio monitoring, (re)insurance market research / study and other forms of internal projects.

- Will be contributing to the costing/underwriting capabilities, which are utilized in order to achieve the targets.

- Will include supporting renewals, assists stakeholder Management framework and providing underwriting allied activities.

Qualification :

- University Degree or equivalent, preferably in Actuarial Science / Mathematics / Statistics. Affiliation to any actuarial society is preferred.

- Good knowledge of insurance/reinsurance and actuarial concepts of reserving and pricing.

- Relevant years of motor and/or liability actuarial experience in reinsurance and/or primary insurance desirable.

- Excellent technical knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint would be appreciated. Knowledge in Access is a plus.

- Good leadership quality and with guiding ability to junior members.

- Strong ability to learn technical and business knowledge quickly.

- Excellent in oral and written English.
