This role includes international travel and no working weekends.

Job Responsibilities:

- Oversee LQ India company accounts, including regular monthly management accounts and Annual Accounts preparation.

- Key role in overseeing Accounts Payable and Receivable functions for the LQ Global Team.

- Supervise and manage the finance assistant and maintain good working relationships with the LQ India Team and LQ Global Finance Team.

- Provide leadership of Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger and Cashier functions, developing Finance Manager JD Leaders- Quest 2017 2 the team to deliver excellent performance.

- Develop highly efficient financial systems and processes, integrating with wider management information systems as appropriate - including internal control processes and an internal audit.

- Be the primary liaison with external agencies, such as banks, auditors, system providers and other third-party advisors, including tax authorities.

- Liaise with our Salesforce lead and suggest updates and improvements for accounting systems and integration with other systems.

- Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported

- Establish and implement financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations and legislation.

- Regularly review all financial plans and budgets to look for cost reduction opportunities.

- Carry out any other reasonable tasks that may arise from time to time.

Does this sound like you?

Must haves:

- A qualified Chartered Accountant or Bachelor's/ master's degree in accounting, business, economics, finance, or a related field.

- Strong knowledge of statutory compliances and any other India specific regulations.

- Experience working in small, medium-sized firms so they have experience across the end to end projects (as opposed to parts of the financial function).

- Should be comfortable working as an individual contributor with little to no guidance-.

- Good communication skills - written and verbal.

Strongly preferred:

- Experience across multiple platforms, in addition to Tally-. Previous experience with Netsuite is a plus.

- Previous experience with line or team management experience

- Experience working with multiple currencies.
