Who we are looking for:

- You have 10-15 years of overall experience handling Supply chain on a Global level.-

- You have PnL handling experience

- You have a strong understanding of Global Supply Chain , Import/Exports Ecosystem

- You are able to connect and negotiate with large enterprises (eg global shipping giants )

- You have Led overall Supply Chain strategy + excellence in addition to day to day operations

- You have experience of working in an international setup.

- You have excellent Negotiation skills- with Merchants/Vendors

- You can be either from Pharma or Consumer Durables/Appliances or Logistics or Big4 Consultancies

- You have a Management degree from a pedigree College

Areas of Impact for you:

- Leading the end-to-end Supply Chain for the business across international buyers and suppliers in the industry.

- Creates and drives supply chain strategy and communications deliver strategic objectives and oversees quality management activities, including Demand Planning, Logistics and Client Service operations.

- Ensure that the team works with suppliers to achieve targeted delivery lead times while minimizing working capital investment.

- Identification of potential risks in the supply side from the perspective of capacity and seasonal bottlenecks and take appropriate actions to mitigate the risks.

- Set expectations so that contracts, in/outsourcing objectives and initiatives, and planning are met.

- Manage approved supplier base including but not limited to supplier qualifications, performance requirements, cost reduction programs and Supplier Business Reviews with contractors.

- Manage and execute goals and responsibilities associated with company procurement and sourcing organization.

- Manage proposal quoting, cost analysis, reports, budgets, supply utilization analysis and capital expenditure management as needed.

- Manage team meetings including plan update and status, monthly plan and forecast review,

Desirable Skills & Experience:

Educational Background: MBA from Tier I colleges

Work Experience: 10+ years of experience in Global Supply chain management

- A thorough understanding of the shipping/freight industry

- Team management and leadership

- Effective communication skills (both oral and written) and interpersonal skills with the ability to actively listen

- Negotiation and persuasion skills

- Concise and clear oral communication

- Strong organizational and time management skills are required, including the proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with time-sensitive deadlines.
