They are in the process of expansion of Regional operations and thus are looking at a Production/ Supply Planning/ Purchase/ Procurement/ Buying/ Sourcing/ Vendor Development professional with strong orientation, who can help them in in expansion of their business across various portfolios and help in building a healthy and robust organisation.   Purpose of the Function Supply Planning:  The Logistics function in Purchasing Organisation enables consistently high and stable availability for the customers at lowest possible landed cost by:   - Leading logistics development, contributing to value chain development with a total cost approach   - Securing planning and delivery processes to achieve excellence in running operations   - Planning and optimizing flow in a sending perspective in efficient delivery and supply solutions  - Defining and securing implementation of ways of working, systems & tools to support business decisions and suppliers to achieve logistics performance  Purpose of the Job:  Take the leadership in the business development team to ensure supplier has goods ready in time and in full in order to fulfill customers need at lowest possible landed cost. By:   - Achieving excellence in running logistics operations in accordance with Category Plan, by interacting with respective stakeholders and complying with working methods;   - Taking the lead in operational capacity planning at supplier level and contributing to tactical capacity planning;   - Developing logistics performance through common Action Plans with Suppliers  KRAs:  - Secure operational capacities by ensuring high quality of capacity data from suppliers and by working continuously towards exceptions together with Need Planner and Supplier in a proactive manner.   - Contribute to tactical capacity planning based on supplier performance on agreed capacity. Update and secure correct business set-up information in all relevant systems.   - Furthermore work with systems and reports, to proactively detect and act on possible deviations from goal.   - Prepare suppliers for best replenishment and delivery solutions by continuously maintaining & developing supplier delivery performance and sender lead-times. Contribute to identifying best logistical offer, furthermore implements, maintains and reviews by having customer and total cost in mind.  - Actively contributes in the planning and execution of the best set-up for range changes at supplier, constraints periods and activities.   - Continuously follow-up, analyse and takes action to improve supplier delivery performance and ensures goods are shipped in time from suppliers.   - Secures correct availability information from supplier to Retail in such quality that it can be for the benefit of customers.   - Develops and maintains suppliers- logistic competence towards becoming responsible on their own performance through: working closely with suppliers, running Supplier Development Projects and providing them relevant trainings & working methods.   - Contribute to supplier development by taking a lead from logistic perspective and engages relevant competence in and at Supplier to assess supplier logistics capability and running supplier development projects.  The incumbent will be responsible for (Key Result Areas):  - Production planning  - Distribution planning  - Raw material Planning  - Supplier collaboration  - Forecasting & production planning.  - Demand Planning  - To optimize production plans.  - Continuously improve supplier delivery performance.  - Assure goods are shipped in time from suppliers.  - Together with each supplier set the goals and create action plan that will enhance the full potentials of the business.  - Person should be have fair understanding of purchase cycle.  - Devise and Execute fulfillment of goals and action plans.  - Evaluate, improve and develop existing production capacities.  - Strong understanding of supply chain and production processes.   - Preference for candidates with Textile production work experience.
