HR Leader
Location - Chennai
Manufacturing multinational:
- The India HR Leader will work closely with the regional MD to proactively assess business needs and implement HR & Organizational Development solutions that effectively develop, engage and leverage talent towards meeting our business plans.
- This position will also serve as the primary point of contact at the site to maintain proactive, positive Labor Management relationship.
- This role will work closely with global and regional HR leaders and business partners to develop and manage
- Talent management- collaborate with the appropriate stakeholders to help drive talent management efforts
- Partner with MD and L1 leaders to assemble and develop a great team (talent acquisition and development) addressing opportunities for improvement in skills and competency matrix
- Serve as a coach / mentor to the leadership team in change management and conflict resolution
- Primary contact for all matters relating to labor relations; develop programs to maintain a safe and positive work environment for all employees and contractors and serve as SME on policy implementation consistent with local government regulations
- Seamless execution of regular HR functions: compensation & benefits, talent assessment, training & career development, talent acquisition, HR team management
- Talent acquisition (partnering with global cross-regional stakeholders) and on-boarding
- HR program implementation consistent with local laws and Company Code of Conduct
- Performance monitoring (partnering with cross-regional stakeholders)
REPORTS TO:
- Direct line to Country Managing Director - India
- Dotted line to Human Resources Director, EMEAI
TEAM:
- Peers - HRBP's at other sites
- Direct Reports - Site (Chennai) HR Mgr, admin support (1+)
Total Manpower- 100
Industry experience- manufacturing (MUST have): Chennai based professionals preferred.
