HRBP Leader - Growing tech startup - TISS, XLRI, SCMHRD, MDI, IIM
The HR Business Partner role at a leading tech startup involves strategically aligning HR initiatives with company objectives and fostering a positive workplace culture. This position is pivotal in driving recruitment, employee development, and compliance within the innovative and dynamic tech environment.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Strategic HR Partnering: Collaborate with business leaders to align HR strategies with the organization's objectives, ensuring that HR initiatives support the company's growth and success.
- Talent Acquisition: Work closely with the Talent Acquisition team to facilitate the recruitment and onboarding of top-tier talent. Contribute to workforce planning and talent acquisition strategies to meet the company's evolving needs.
- Employee Relations: Address employee concerns and conflicts, providing guidance and effective resolutions. Create and maintain a positive work environment that fosters employee engagement and well-being.
- Performance Management: Support the development and implementation of performance management processes, including goal setting, performance feedback, and performance improvement plans.
- Organizational Development: Identify and address organizational development needs, including talent development, training, and succession planning to ensure the company's long-term success.
- Compensation and Benefits: Collaborate with the HR and Compensation teams to manage competitive compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they align with industry standards.
- HR Compliance: Stay up-to-date with HR laws and regulations, offering guidance on policy development and ensuring the company's compliance.
- Employee Development: Implement and support employee development programs, including training, coaching, and career development to foster individual growth and career progression.
- HR Analytics: Utilize data and analytics to make informed HR decisions and drive continuous improvement in HR processes and practices.
- Employee Engagement: Lead employee engagement initiatives to create a positive and inclusive workplace culture, enhancing employee satisfaction and retention.
Ideal Candidate:
- Candidate should ideally have at least 5 to 8 years of prior experience in HRBP role, in a reputed tech company or startup.
- MBA from a premium, tier I institute (preferred) - TISS, XLRI, SCMHRD, MDI, IIM
- Must have a strategic and analytically mindset with an ability to drive change management
- Should have excellent communication, should be able to hold relevant and intellectually stimulating conversations with the leadership
- Should have strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Should have handled team size of at least 3-5 members
