Leader - Exports - Agriculture Business (15-20 yrs)


- Identifying and developing new business opportunities across different Agribusiness categories (Cereals, Fruits & Vegetables, Spices, Beverages, etc.) across geographies (Middle East, Africa, US, Europe).

- Overall sales leader responsible for revenue growth and profitability targets.

- Own the business: manage the P&L, cashflow, develop new business models, understand where opportunities are and create a viable business to service them.

- Maintaining keen understanding of industry trends affecting emerging businesses and make appropriate recommendations regarding new business hotspots and new opportunities.

- Create a network of Agents, Distributors, Pack Houses, Logistics partners across major trade routes consumption centers.

- Develop deep and long-standing relationships with customers - to drive relationships from the strategic to the tactical point of view.

- Have an in-depth knowledge of competition and vendors and ability to influence the market.

- Build, retain and groom a strong team to deliver across functions.

- Set goals, define KPIs and ensure team tracks effectively towards goals.

What we are looking for:

- Prior experience in Agribusiness is must.

- Prior experience in Exports is must.

- 15+ years of experience in exports and international sales of Agribusiness/ Agri commodities, etc.

- Understanding of the entire value chain of Agri exports and has network of stakeholders at each step

- Large PL management experience is preferred.

- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple deliverables simultaneously.

- A go getter attitude with strong result orientation.

- A desire to work in the impact space, with a passion to make the world a "better" place
