My client is one of the biggest India conglomerate with huge international presence. They are currently looking at recruiting a Training &amp; Development Head for their telecom equipment manufacturing organisation. Responsibilities would include: - Leading the design &amp; implementation of strategic and operational Learning &amp; Development solutions designed to realize growth goals; improve performance; and which align, inspire and engage employees - Integration of Learning and Development Strategies with the overall Business Strategy - Designing, implementing and managing core L&amp;D skills curriculum, ensuring that it is supporting business objectives - Delivering the wide range of innovative &amp; engaging leadership, management &amp; other behavioral &amp; functional programs using L&amp; D fundamentals of Competency-Based Assessments - Compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements applicable to Learning and Development - Provide direction to Functional Managers/Directors on mandatory training compliance requirements - Formulate, promote and execute effective L&amp;D strategies to support Retention, Career Development, and Succession - Collaborate with the local HR managers to build competence and promote a high performing Organization - Ensure employees are trained to do their work and their training is documented - Work closely with HR/line leaders, identify gaps incompetency and design /develop/deliver appropriate training programs EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS - Minimum 8 years- experience in L&amp;D preferably from Telecom industry - Should have experience in delivering/conducting training programs - Strong track record of results and collaboration - Keeps abreast of best practices in L&amp;D - Excellent interpersonal skills
