We need to hire a person from taxation and consulting background, please read carefully before applying. Basic Function / Job Responsibilities :&nbsp; 1. Lead taxation policy issues related to Transfer Pricing, DTAAs and emerging areas around taxation of the digital economy. 2. Represent Organization with government, regulators and members at a senior level. 3. Work with members, think tanks, research firms, consulting and law firms, multi-stakeholder to build robust policy views, policy submissions and research papers. - Roughly 60-70% of the role will involve individual content creation - developing and articulating policy stance in consultation with stakeholders and rest would be led by responsibility of driving work in collaboration with team members and external experts Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience : 1. Expert knowledge of Transfer Pricing issues cross-border taxation of services and e-commerce with an understanding of global developments in tax policies - OECD, EU, US etc. 2. Expertise in writing tax advisory - notes, discussion papers and submissions. Those with published relevant research papers, blogs and opinion articles in reputed publications will be preferred. 3. Demonstrated ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and deliver in tight deadlines. 4. Self-motivated and an ethical mindset. 5. Five to eight years of relevant work experience which the candidate can map to the required job responsibilities. 6. Past experience of working with reputed tax consultancies, policy think tanks and/or law firms.
