Lead Taxation- Indirect TAX- CA

- We are currently hiring a Taxation Lead (Indirect tax) for a tech based startup in Bangalore.

- This is a leading logistic related startup that is growing in a big way.

- As the Taxation lead, you will be responsible for Indirect Taxes and managing a team.

Please note: You must be a CA followed by 8 years of Taxation experience and Must have strong understanding of taxes in e-commerce / retail industry.

The role requires the person to be able to:

- Handle and control entire Tax Function of the company- multiple business divisions

- Prepare and submit tax returns and related statutory financial statement

- Deal with Income Tax authorities for assessments

- Prepare Ground of Appeals, filing of appeals, appearing between CIT, Tribunal for appeals.

- Handle Statutory compliances and tax & Service tax audits

- Manage compliance of GST, VAT, CST, Service Tax.

To fit the bill :

- 8 years of experience post CA

- Must have strong understanding of taxes in e-commerce / retail industry

- Must have handled b2b tax related issues

- You must have led Indirect taxation

- You must have dealt with tax authorities

- Must have excellent numeracy and problem solving skills with attention to details and be proactive in your approach to the work Direct and Indirect tax

- High management skills for day to day operations.
