We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supply Chain Lead to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end supply chain process, from sourcing raw materials to delivering finished products to customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, with a focus on strategic planning, logistics, and process improvement. Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize the supply chain process and improve overall efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, manufacturing, and logistics, to ensure smooth and timely flow of materials and finished goods
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to minimize stockouts and excess inventory
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate contracts with suppliers to maximize value
- Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Analyze data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and track supply chain performance
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence and reduce lead times
- Analyze data from shipping and delivering processes to find bottlenecks and other issues
- Resolve issues that come up (e.g. delays in delivery, accidents)
- Develop and implement safety guidelines in all aspects of the supply chain (e.g. use of trucks, forklifts)
Experience & Skill
- Degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment
- Strong knowledge of supply chain principles and best practices
- Proficient in using supply chain management software and tools, such as ERP systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality management systems
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
