Lead - L&D Specialist - FMCG
The role is a chance to join one of well known FMCG company, who is looking to hire a L&D specialist in Mumbai
The Learning and Development Manager will play a critical role in the day-to-day learning and development (L&D) activities and within the HR team. This role will coordinate all L&D activities but also partner with business managers, other members of the L&D department, and HR. Activities include managing the L&D Specialists and regularly interacting with employees and third-party training providers. You should be a friendly, self-motivated team player with strong interpersonal skills.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Support all Learning and Development initiatives including designing content, training delivery, training analysis
- Conducting Training Needs Analysis using both structured and informal methods to capture requirements across the organisation
- Conceptualizing innovative and flexible methods to address the developmental and capacity building needs identified, including identification of external training programs and conferences, the design and delivery of in-house training sessions, enrolment in online learning programs, mentoring, self-learning, and other methods as appropriate.
- Drawing up a comprehensive L&D Plan based on the developmental needs and methods identified
- Work with business leaders & top management to ensure smooth learning & development execution with effective outcomes; providing thought leadership around program design and delivery.
- Monitoring and evaluation of both structured and informal methods used; making continuous improvements in the approach, process and methods as appropriate
- Organizing and anchoring the New Hire Orientation programme to enable easy settling-in and induction of new joinees
Qualifications:
- Any Bachelor/PG degree
- Demonstrate affinity with employee learning and learning technologies
- Able to design and produce relevant training materials including e-learning courses
- Able to solve problems quickly and resolve issues
- Possess analytical ability
