Job Description :

The Job Role will involve playing a key role as a Lead Architect/Leadership. Driving initiatives related to AI & Cognitive Solutions, involving various technology POCs and coming up with meaningful solutions & accelerators. It will require coordinating with teams (onsite/Offshore), coordination with BU teams, Sales teams, Pre-Sales teams to take solutions to market. It will also involve a presentation to customers, and also doing hands-on activities/demos to customers. When there is a key project, will involve engaged in projects for the delivery of the project, in the role of an architect, engaging with customers, playing both hands-on as well as advisory to project. Traveling for project execution will also be one of the activities. Guiding teams technically in POCs and also solution development. Will also be responsible for team grooming, mentoring and management.

Primary Skills:

a. Should have experience in Database technologies & sound experience in handling & working with data, understanding and making sense from Data.

b. Should be conversant with OOPs concepts, Java technologies, interfaces, Spring framework / other frameworks

c. Should have a good awareness of Linux / Unix technology and should be comfortable using the command line as well as complex Linux activities (Linux configurations)

d. Should have good knowledge about Operating Systems, networking, filesystem, database

e. Awareness of AI / Algorithms / Analytics

Secondary Skills (Desired) :

a. Awareness of algorithms

b. Should have exposure to data analytics, data science, tools related to data science

c. Should have exposure to R&D Activities

d. Should have customer facing technical presentation skills

e. Should have handled large volumes of data

f. Knowledge / Experience on any of the Hadoop technologies is very important.

g. Knowledge / Experience on NoSQL databases like MongoDB, HDFS also an added plus.

h. Experience in Spark & similar real-time in-memory technologies

i. Knowledge in Machine Learning Platforms like Azure ML, IBM Watson ML, R, Weka etc. Capabilities around Machine Learning for Predictive & Prescriptive solution development.
