Lead - Social Media Specialist - Banking

Position Title - Social Media Specialist

Location - Mumbai

Department- Corporate Communications Grade

Reporting To - Head Corporate Communications

Purpose of the Job: 

The position is part of the Corporate Communications team and will report into the Chief Communications Officer. It involves close coordination various Group Marketing and Group Digital team, and various group companies across asset management, life, general and health insurance, retail broking and wealth management, commercial finance and home loans.

Key responsibilities: 

- Manage all social media handles and corporate website

- Devise strategies on social media content, working closely with SM agency

- Oversee creative work of SM agency

- Devise strategies to drive traffic to all Group SM handles

- Online reputation management

- Analyze social media reports on Group SM handles; reporting to senior management as appropriate

- Coordinate with other SM leads within group companies and other companies within the broader group

- At least 8 years of experience digital/social media communications/ marketing

Personal Attributes: 

- At least 8 years of experience digital/social media communications/ marketing

- Strong track record of running successful and compelling campaigns

- Copywriting/creative and/or account planning background is essential

- Candidates working at other large companies/groups preferred

- Open to candidates from digital arms of large PR agencies with the experience of working with strong brands

- Single contributor role - so must be highly motivated

- Must have excellent communication skills

- Must have the ability to work within a team and work with partners across the group companies
