Lead - Search Engine Optimisation - IT

Job Description:

This individual will report into Senior Manager SEO. This position will work as part of a cross functional team made up of marketing, web and technology teams. The individual will be responsible for conceptualizing, planning and implementing SEO strategies for our clients along with a team of 3-6 SEO analysts managing a team of 3 - 6 SEO analysts in delivering SEO solutions on designated projects.

Responsibilities:

- Drive SEO outputs as per established standards and practices with an aim to improve service quality and drive client growth and retention

- Use of data and analytics to deliver marketing efficiencies

- Lead a team of analysts to develop and execute the online marketing strategy for our clients, spanning across SEO Strategy & Analysis, Keyword Research, Content Marketing, off page marketing

- Responsible for improving the SEO adherence and conversion points for the promotion and growth of the client's web properties

- Analyse and interpret user journey stats in order to improve the customer experience

- Analyse campaigns, identify trends and provide fast, accurate reports, optimizing campaigns to produce the best return on investment

- Aid the SEO manager in hiring, managing & building a strong team with best in class SEO competencies, skills & experience sets

Desired Skills:

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in SEO

- At least 3 years of experience in working with a digital agency

- Proficiency using tools to track and report on response rates, traffic and pick up broader digital marketing skills encompassing keyword generation, content marketing, off page marketing, digital strategy consulting

- Experience in campaign management

- Strong analytical skills, numerical skills and a good knowledge of Excel

- Good relationship management skills and a good team player

- Creative flair and enthusiasm for new ideas and concepts

- Strong leadership, entrepreneurial and execution skills

Qualifications:

- Master's degree in Business, Marketing or Advertising

- Contributes to improvements in processes (technical or business) used by analysts.

- Provide direction to the analysts as per project needs

- Drives focused decisions within specific areas and a key contributor to decisions beyond specific scope of role.

- Ability to identify key needs or gaps and provide leadership to close those gaps. Learns from mistakes, takes action to apply the learning and provides peer and team wide feedback for those in immediate area of focus .
