Job Position Summary:

The Search Engine Marketing Manager will manage all paid search campaigns on Google, Yahoo and Bing, as well as other search and display marketing engines. A successful SEM Specialist will effectively manage the paid search budget and work with the eCommerce and Marketing team in order to maximize ROI, drive traffic, and customers. The Performance manager will also be responsible for Media planning and campaign management across other digital mediums within the Facebook network. This Primary objective would be to increase direct and owned channel contribution by constantly managing and monitoring paid campaigns, improving conversion ratios, reduce drop-offs, bring-back campaigns but not limited to this alone.

Key responsibilities:

1. Ideate, Plan and Execute Online Media High volume/High return campaigns not limited to Google and Meta Media environments.

2. Manage and Support Digital media partners and Agency-on-Record

3. Execute tests, collect and analyze data, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns

4. Track, report, and analyze website analytics and PPC initiatives and campaigns

5. Manage campaign expenses, staying on budget, estimating monthly costs and reconciling discrepancies

6. Optimize copy and landing pages for paid search engine marketing campaigns

7. Perform ongoing paid keyword discovery, expansion and optimization

8. Research and analyze competitor advertising linksProvide insight and contribute to continuous process improvement

Desired Qualification / certifications :

Masters / PG degree. Courses in Digital Marketing, Google Campaign manager, Analytics and performance marketing will be preferred.

Preferred relevant work experience:

- 7+ years of experience in Digital Marketing with ecommerce operational discipline.

- Prior experience in running High-Performance campaigns wither with previous employer or from an agency.

- Must have managed digital marketing media spends over $1,000,000 annually (Minimum).

- Deep familiarity the ability to plan and execute paid marketing campaigns with Google, FaceBook (Meta) and other Metasearch partners - Directly and Indirectly.

- Proven SEM experience and success managing PPC campaigns across Google, Yahoo and Bing

- Well-versed in performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition

- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in search engine marketing

- In-depth experience with bid management tools (e.g DFA, Double Click, Click Equations, Marin, Kenshoo, Search Ignite)

- Strong analytical skills and experience generating SEM reports

- Familiarity with A/B and multivariate experiments

- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints. Experience in evaluation of digital products /solutions and build business cases with recommendations

- Knowledge of product management in the digital space (Whatsapp, SMS and eMail marketing along with an understanding of web, mobile/app, CRM, marketing automation, CMS, eCommerce solutions).

- Developing customer life cycle and purchase pattern / roadmaps

Skills and knowledge

- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate to business users as well as developers.

- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, ambiguous environment with a strong action bias

- High analytical ability & process orientation
