 Education in India is in a deep problem. Over 70% of graduates are found unemployable due to lack of conceptual understanding, communication skills and critical thinking. Multiple studies have found that affordable private school and government school students fair far below students of high fee private schools in terms of learning outcomes. To empower

India and fulfill the aspirations of low income parents, we need to drive education excellence in govt. and affordable schools.


LEAD School is an education company with a mission to empower India by making excellent education, affordable and accessible to every child. We do this by setting up our own schools & partnering with affordable private schools and govt. schools in small towns, talukas, and villages.


We are looking for people who are passionate professionals and find the idea of taking excellent education to thesecommunities inspiring and worth spending time on. An HR Talent Acquisition has a critical role in hiring the right DNA and building the culture, as we rapidly scale up the organization.


Responsibilities :

- Internalize the vision, mission and values of LEAD school along with the selection principles and practices to hire the right person for the right role in order to contribute to the right organizational DNA.


- Initiate context building programs and data mine Employee experience stories to develop Organizational view for candidates.


- Plan and prepare annual Talent acquisition Plan and Budget.


- Develop Talent sourcing model through the analysis of complex business needs with functional heads. Conduct a Bench marking study for all Organizations within Education sector.


- Build and collaborate with Recruitment Business partners and channel partners to ensure pan-India coverage.


- Develop unified campus strategy to cross-leverage pan-India campuses across functions and deliver common messaging, experience and drive analytics to ensure impact.


- Self-source through employee engagement campaigns, internship programs, social media and practices ie STH.


- Drive end to end TA policies and implement digitization to streamline and increase efficiency & scale in practice.


- Develop and document guidebook and training plans for Hiring managers to ensure they are properly equipped to interview and make hiring decisions.


- Develop strategies for communication forums with Hiring managers to take their suggestions & feedback.


- Develop and provide daily, monthly Recruitment reports that track key metrics i.e. position closure, turnaround time of recruitment, channel cost and candidate evaluation. Development of Digital Platform for Candidate Assessments.


- Maintain strong working relationship with all business departments and maintain successful communication with all departments

- Manage project scope and expectations to deliver Hiring that meet excellent quality standards and on time completion.


- Enhance the employee experience from entry to exit in the organization by strengthening the induction, on-boarding and performance management process.


Requirements :

- 8-10 years organizational experience in sourcing, recruitment and interviewing

- Significant experience in pan-India sourcing life-cycle and successful leadership of large volume high quality hiring project implementation is required

- Excellent project management, business analysis and collaboration skills.


- Ability to foresee possible issues and troubleshoot them proactively

- Travel may be needed as hiring is Pan-India

Qualifications :

- Masters in HR and/or MBA; LLB

- Contributions to the Education industry desirable

Skills and attributes :

- Possesses honesty, integrity, strong work ethic, and team skills

- Strong problem solving and communication abilities; is organized and efficient

- Excited by and open to new ideas and new ways of doing things

- Proven ability to meet deadlines in high-paced work environment

- Proficient with multiple technologies

- Leadership skills to independently source and hire

Compensation : Commensurate to Experience impact and Skill
