The Lead Sales Process Owner - owns- (the Functional Authority) the Opportunity and Bid Management processes.
Responsibilities include :
- Design and implement digitization of the Bid Management processes and tools
- Drive continuous improvement to the Opportunity & Bid Management processes and platforms, based on evolving business & user requirements, and industry practices
- Document approach notes; document processes on wiki pages; document rough wireframes layout
- Interface with the Sales Systems Business Analysts to help prepare BRDs & CRs
- Design learning materials such as e-learning, just-in-time micro learning
- Train and mentor Pre-Sales Heads and senior Bid Managers; Train-the Trainer for Opportunity Management
- Ensure that all IT systems related to Opportunity Management and the Bid Management Framework are maintained and enhanced
- Analyze results and feedback to identify Opportunities for Improvement
- Identify key process activities and metrics such as lead & lag indicators
Skills required :
- Solid understanding of the Opportunity and Bid Management processes and practices
- Process Design and/ or Quality Management experience
- Proactive approach to innovation
- Analytical & detail-oriented
- Excellent communicator (verbal and written English) with grasp of language nuances and grammar
- Ability to design and create e-learning modules using tools like Camtasia
- Presence and confidence to facilitate workshops in front of customers
- Liaise with senior business users of the Opportunity & Bid Management process areas.
- MS Office proficiency for creating high quality documents, presentation decks, Excel spreadsheets.
