Role:
- Sales & Marketing leader: Next generation Digital products in Farm machinery.
- Looking for a creative sales & marketing professional with significant exposure to new age B2C/B2B digital products or services in the recent past.
- He/she will work closely with senior leadership to build and scale the connected farm machinery ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
- Build and manage a strong B2C (Tractor owners) & B2B (Tractor dealers, distributors, intermediaries, OEM's) channel for next-generation digital products & solutions in Farm machinery.
- Drive channel sales for our next generation of digital products and manage aspects like pricing and product sell-through. Bring in world-class business practices & systems to create demand visibility, build a strong sales pipeline, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Architect, launch, and manage the sell-through of new digital product subscription packages based on farming season, regions, crops, and specific farm & non-farm work applications.
- Build successful insighting relationships with Tractor dealers by using a relevant machine, data analytics to drive efficiency in spares management, new tractor sales, tractor service, and customer loyalty & connect.
- Create a seamless business connect for our digital products with relevant channel sales & customer service initiatives.
- Build and manage a future sales leads pipeline by working closely with the After Sales support team.
Marketing
- Drive customer segmentation & success strategy, use analytics & field research augment customer experience across products & services.
- Develop and implement an integrated communication strategy aligned with marketing seasonal initiatives and product stories. Plan and conduct BTL product sales events in key rural markets in India.
- Design and drive innovative consumer experiences across all marketing channels: digital, activation, dealer events, and PR. Ensure the creation and timely refresh of all necessary digital assets and collateral including a product website, brochures, product videos, case studies, and more.
- Be an active evangelist in the Global IoT, Industrie 4.0, Agritech, Telematics, Payments, Shared economy, and consumer electronics markets by showcasing & championing our new products & services.
Strategy & NPD:
- Drive strategic reviews, deliver presentations to senior stakeholders across the organization to ensure tight business alignment with channel, customer service, R&D, marketing, and the product planning team.
- Assist in the development of a Global sales strategy, scout and identify strategic partnerships to enter new markets.
- Assist in new product development activities for specific large scale business inquiries.
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of sales & marketing experience having driven significant, measurable business impact in previous organizations.
- Top tier MBA, but not a mandate if the person has solid experience working at successful Start-ups (Series A funded and above).
- Proven success leading a sales team and consultative sales success in establishing effective relationships with key decision-makers. Target drove with a strong emphasis on developing & scaling new business models.
- Familiarity with the connected product ecosystem, having a good grasp of aspects like Cloud, Hardware, connectivity, and commerce.
