Reports to (job) :GIB - Head Institutional Product & Process

Job Purpose :

Responsible for establishing, growing, managing and driving business metrics through strategic partnerships with leading EdTech companies- 2 Reportees

Job Responsibilities(JR) : 6 - 8 Areas

Actionable (4-6)

Business Scoping

- Identify strategic opportunities for GIB business with respect to EdTechs

- Map the EdTech opportunity across various subsegments

- Develop a strategic roadmap to leverage comprehensive banking and allied opportunity across the various EdTech subsegments

- Develop relationships with key stakeholders across target EdTech companies

- Be the first point of contact to manage the EdTech relationships from a GIB standpoint

- Leverage and grow existing bank EdTech relationships through active engagement with branches, GIB Team as well as Startup team

Driving Business Objectives

- Create a go-to-market plan for Ed-Tech engagements

- Work with cross functional teams in the bank including respective product, risk and operations teams to develop a comprehensive and competitive product and solution proposition to drive business engagement with leading Edtechs

- Leverage relationships with leading Edtechs to drive banking business for GIB

- Drive Digital DSA construct across target EdTechs to address the sizable end-user opportunity with respect to the Edtech ecosystem

- Design and continuously improve Customer Journey with respect to bank product origination journeys integrated on leading Edtech platforms

- Identify and execute innovative opportunities of partnership with leading Edtechs to drive business traction for the bank

- Track, report and grow business emanating from Edtechs across various business lines and enshrine strategies to grow the same

- Share EdTech data with Channel and Branches, discuss enablers and actionable/s to drive Edtech business penetration and execute the actionable/s in a structured manner

- Identify performing branches and territories & share as well as replicate their success stories across other branches

Technology Focus:

Work closely with the technology teams and other stakeholders to drive the following objectives:

- Conceptualize integration of bank product journeys on leading Edtech platforms

- Innovatively leverage technology to make client interaction and journey digital and seamless

- Responsible for high quality UI/UX for a class-leading client experience

- Ensure security, scalability and sustainability of API integrations on partner platforms

Trainings & Channel / Partner Engagement

- Drive trainings, webinars and interactive sessions with frontline stakeholders including Branch network, Business sales teams as well as prospect partners to drive business objectives

- Act as business enabler by publishing replication stories/knowledge series etc. to drive business metrics across the EdTech ecosystem

- Undertake periodic meetings with prospective and onboarded Edtech partners and manage relationship in an ongoing manner

Competition Mapping & Consistent Benchmarking

- Keep abreast with regards engagement of competition with Edtech startups

- Benchmarking against competition offering both with respect to banking products / services offered to Edtechs as well as partnership opportunities

Business specific drives

- Business drives from time to time depending on evolving business scenario; tracking the same

- Monitoring of the Govt and Institutional related news and share with stakeholders

Supervisory:

- Guide and mentor reportees with respect to above tasks

- Ensure retention, overall development and motivation of mapped team members
