Job Description :

- Responsible for developing a strategic projects inline with the organisation's goals for researching, developing new products, and improving existing products that are aimed at being environmentally friendly and also at saving resources.

Client Details

Our client is a Global MNC with R&D and sales offices in multiple locations across the world and is a well known name in the engineering space.

Description

- Develop new R&D concepts and plans to meet the organisational goals of product development and product improvement

- Direct and manage all cross-functional activities to research, develop, sample, test and launch new products in the swiftest and most efficient manner possible.

- Interact with vendors and supply chain personnel for specifications and technical requirements (pre order and post order) in order to meet the customer contract requirements and keep project within cost.

- Develop SOPs and processes to reduce costs, time of engineering processes.

- Liaise and interact with global R&D counterparts and other engineering groups for learnings and timely completion of projects.

Profile

- Engineering Graduate (Mechanical) with at least 10 years of experience in handling plant engineering activities of industrial steam turbines plant projects. M.Tech. candidates will be preferred

- MBA is preferred but not mandatory

- Demonstrable experience in R&D operations, product life-cycle management, formulation, stability studies & specifications development with prior experience in site operations and commissioning for mechanical parts

- At least 2 years experience in a team leading role
