Lead Project Management - Marketing Automation - Travel/Aviation


Job Position Summary :


- The eServices and Projects Manager will be responsible to drive all of the Customer facing and Inward facing Digital services (eServices).


- Key focus will be Planning , Managing, Evaluating and Deploying on-site and on-app projects by working together with internal stakeholders (Business& IT teams) and external partners/vendors.


- Primary objective would be to ensure project delivery to the business owners while managing concurrent projects in a dynamically changing environment.

Key responsibilities :

1. Defines complex project plans including scope, budget and schedule, and executes tasks defined in the project plan to achieve project goals using standard project management methodologies and practices

2. Continually assesses project needs and resources to complete projects on time and within budget

3. Validates, and may help develop, business cases with Customers, as well as develops a project charter

4. Drives testing and acceptance of project results

5. Partners with resource managers, Business Partners and vendors to assemble a project Team and provide ongoing motivation to drive projects to completion

6. Leads and facilitates project meetings and presentations to Leadership

7. Engages and initiates change leadership to ensure project acceptance

8. Drives Teams and Customers toward decisions

9. Establishes cross-functional alliances within and outside of the Technology Department to drive results

10. Proactively communicates with Stakeholders, Sponsors, and Project Teams to maintain project alignment

11. Builds partnerships to collaborate and uses influence without authority to gather Customer and business requirements and communicate effectively with all project Teams and Support groups

12. Must be able to meet any physical ability requirements listed on this description

13. May perform other job duties as directed by Employees' Leaders

Desired Qualification / certifications :

- B. Tech/MTech

- Should be certified PMP/Prince 2 Project manager.

- Advanced knowledge of MS Project, Visio, MS Office

- Advanced knowledge of travel technology applications and IBE systems for the travel domain (Navitaire, GDS, Payment gateways integration, content management & Analytics implementation)..

Preferred relevant work experience :

- 10+ years of experience in Project management

- Exposure to Digital Platforms across Native, Hybrid and SaaS based applications with ecommerce operational discipline.

- Advanced knowledge of project processes, problem management tools and procedures

- Must have managed and owned concurrent projects

- Experience as Travel domain Product manager added advantage.

- Proficient knowledge of application impact on operational and business functions

- Strong Customer Service and Team orientation

- Demonstrates and employs active listening skills

- Builds relationships and influences without authority

- Effectively communicates information and ideas using all forms of communication

- Maintains composure under pressure and accurately assesses problem situations

- Directs tasks to finish by scheduled completion date

- Reorders job priorities for Team and self as needed

- Works effectively in a fast paced, collaborative, Team based environment

- Knowledge of product management in the digital space (WhatsApp, SMS and email marketing along with an understanding of web, mobile/app, CRM, marketing automation, CMS, eCommerce solutions).

- Developing customer life cycle and purchase pattern / roadmaps

Behavioral Skills :

- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate to business users as well as developers and other stakeholders involved

- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, ambiguous environment with a strong action bias

- High analytical ability & process orientation
