Job Description - The role is a lead in project management who will be responsible for planning, executing and launching manufacturing set ups aimed at production of packaging products/material which is a part of their ramp up plans in India.

Client Details : 

Our client is a US based Softbank backed organisation aimed at building a smarter and more sustainable food ecosystem. They are into manufacturing of sustainable packaging products and materials.

Description : 

- Put together factory bring up plans, including factory facility readiness, manufacturing equipment setup, and optimisation through deep analysis and in conjunction with manufacturing partners

- Lead the factory during the launch phase, Investigate equipment failures or difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and to recommend remedies

- Lead cross functional teams of engineers to implement and provide feedback on manufacturing processes and optimisations

- Lead development of the maintenance or safety procedures, service schedule, or supply of materials required to maintain machines or equipment in the prescribed condition

- Plan and execute launches with stakeholder alignment across the globe

- Eliminate confusion with detailed record-keeping

- Work with Product, Legal, Brand, Marketing, Quality, and Compliance to ensure packaging meets all guidelines

- Develop budgets for upcoming activities based on historical performance

Profile : 

- Bachelor degree in Mechatronics / Mechanical / Manufacturing / Process engineering (or equivalent). Masters degree a plus

- PMP Certification is preferred

- Minimum 12 years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering or product development

- Proven experience in handling large scale CAPEX manufacturing setups from planning to launch stage

- Worked on vendor development projects
