Lead - Product Development - IT - IIT/NIT/BITS

Basic Qualification : BS / MS in Computer science (Premier institute only)

Experience : 8+ Years

Required Skill Set :

- A proven track record of complex and create problem solving and experience with highly-scaled distributed systems.

- An engineering grad with 8+ years of experience in designing and crafting sophisticated fault-tolerant distributed systems.

- Hands-on experience building and releasing minimum of 4-5 products & platforms.

- Very thorough experience coding in - C/C++, NodeJS/MEAN, AWS, Microservices, Dockers, Service Orchestration, MySQL/MongoDB, Redis. and related modern technology stacks.

- Deep level of understanding of cloud orchestration and automation, and the provisioning of workloads, resources, and applications

- A heightened sense of ownership.

- A deep technical foundation and an insatiable curiosity to keep learning.

- Experience in leading and mentoring talented engineers

- Love to Foster and grow the engineering culture on existing teams, emphasizing empathy, collaboration, innovation, and quality. Proven ability to influence others, facilitate agreement among stakeholders with different interests.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, building relationships.

- Hands-on experience with professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations

Advantage:

- Experience of building products/platforms/SDK in IoT landscape.

- Experience in decision science, data science, machine learning.

- Experience in KAA, Amazon IOT, IBM Watson IoT or similar systems.

- Knowledge of short/mid/long haul wireless networks

- Understanding of GPS, SMS, USSD, Telco-data network

- Experience in Jira, Gitlab/GitHub/Bitbucket.
