Lead - Procurement

This role involves working closely with the AVP Operations along with Functional Directors/Heads to achieve strategic objectives of the company. The incumbent will be required to multi-task, support in conceiving and implementing new processes, create, update and follow up on business and strategic projects with attention to detail. It will also involve working under stringent deadlines, and aggregating and interpreting data.

Responsibilities:

End-to-End Procurement: Overseeing the entire procurement process, from sourcing to contracting

Supplier Management : Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers, fostering strong and collaborative partnerships to guarantee a consistent supply of high-quality materials.

Budget Management : Develop and manage the procurement budget, tracking expenses, and providing regular reports to management.

Risk Mitigation: Handling insurance-related aspects

Strategic Sourcing : Develop and execute procurement strategies to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, components, and equipment required for solar energy projects.

Cost Optimization : Continuously evaluate supplier performance and negotiate contracts to achieve cost savings while maintaining product quality and reliability.
