Lead APAC Pricing
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY :
- Be a trusted advisor to the Sales and Client Services teams, collaborating on pricing, product, and commercial terms for standard and complex, non-standard deals
- Work as a liaison between multiple groups, such as accounting, sales ops, legal, and product teams, to help facilitate the deal process
- Lead review of the deal-specific pricing models and ensure they are fully robust with an accurate representation of profitability (e.g. costs, pricing rates, P&L calculations)
- Develop and provide Pricing and Approval Process training
- Collaborate and share best practices across geographies/regions
- Develop deep understanding of the company's operations and cost drivers, and incorporate this knowledge into pricing practices to improve margins
QUALIFICATIONS :
- 5-10 years experience working in a similar Finance / Business role
- CA, CWA, MBA preferred
- Experience working in the software/technology industry preferred
- Understanding of revenue recognition accounting principles, US GAAP and IFRS
- International experience working with multiple time zones and cultures preferred
- Experience developing financial models in Excel using multiple data sources
- Experience managing pricing processes that involve cross-functional and global partners
- Experience working with various levels of an organization including leadership, peers, and junior team members
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to effectively manage projects supporting multiple business partners
- Strong inter-personal and communication skills including enthusiasm, entrepreneurial spirit, resilience and a collaborative mindset
- A thorough understanding of the sales process and the ability to navigate and progress long, complex sales cycles
- Self-motivated and able to work under pressure; dependable with deliverables and deadlines, able to multi-task
