We are sourcing for a PreSales Lead with a IT company
Job Responsibility:
- Be result-oriented and ensure the region's sales target are met by working closely with the sales team
- Possess adequate techno-commercial skills in the areas of Compute, virtualization, backup, cloud & automation
- Capture customers business requirement, design a solution that retro-fits his requirement and work along with internal team to spint out a quck PoV
- Ability to Articulate our value proposition to customers both technical and business audience(CXOs)
- Handling existing customers and able to upsell solutions by demonstrating value to the customers
- Keep upto date with the latest industry trends, analyst views and apply thus gained knowledge in real time to deliver value amongst customers
- Educate and train inernal team about the latest technologies and solutions
- Develop technical and business value material, presentations and demonstrations to key decision makers of prospective customers
- Creation of solution design document, BOQ, SOW and proactive proposal responses
- Build relationships with OEM for technical support and knowledge sharing
- Create RFI and RFP response
REQUIRED SKILLSETS:
- Indepth understanding of Server, Storage, backup and virtualization technologies
- Good product knowledge of Dell, HP, VMWare, Nutanix, Citrix, Commvault, Linux etc.,
- Should have in-depth understanding in VMWare Server Virtualization, Citrix VDI and Cloud Orchestration tools along with sizing skillsets
- Sound Knowledge on Cloud offerings of either AWS or Azure. Applications (Database, ERP, O365 etc.,) knowledge will be an added advantage
- Understand clients requirement and ability to propose solutions on cross-architecture platforms like on-premises, cloud or hybrid
- Develop competitive technical and commercial differentiation in partnership with internal team and OEM
- Possess hands-on experience to conduct POC, prepare technical architecture blueprint, and solution design
- Embrace Open source technologies and build custom solutions to customer's business requirement
- Work closely with the Implementation team to ensure successful delivery of solutions to customers
- Self-Starter, Quick learner, creative and out of box thinker
- Provide the Implementation team with all necessary documentation for the successful completion of the project
- Work with Sales to provide a timely response for technical RFI/RFP questions
KEY ATTRIBUTES & ELIGIBILITY :
- Minimum 12 years- overall experience in pre-sales, design and implementation of Server, Storage and Virtualization solutions
- Must have 2 - 3 experience in architecting and deploying cloud solutions
- 6+ years- experience as proven and demonstrable track record of success in presales
- Certifications from HP/Dell/IBM/EMC/Net APP/VMWare /Citrix for Implementation/Designing is preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must have excellent interpersonal and time management skills and a strong team player
- Willingness to travel on need basis
