We have been retained by a high reaching tech startup to hire a Lead- Payroll & Statutory Compliance for them.
The role will oversee overall Payroll and Statutory Compliances these will include implementing advanced payroll vendor solutions, support payroll operations and to lead a team of skilled payroll professionals across regions. The role will be responsible for all statutory compliances across Cities and dealing with labour ministry.
Key Responsibilities :
- Responsible for managing Pan India Payroll Operations across cities and offices
- Managing Payroll related statutory Compliances (Tax, PF, ESIC, PT, LWF & Minimum wages)
- Resolution of Employee queries in a time bound manner
- Handle coordination, compliance to statutory guidelines and auditing of payroll data once received from the vendor
- Managing employee benefits program
- Vendor engagement & management for payroll and statutory compliances
- Proven track of working with leaders from across geographies and managing the deliverables under a fast changing expectations with accurate quality in a metrics environment.
- Assure other payroll-related processes such as: severance, commissions, special payouts, equity adjustments, expat payments, integration items and other non-standard payroll activities are completed with compliance.
To fit the bill, you must have :
- Experience Required : 12-16 years of experience in relevant discipline
- Education Required : Masters Degree preferably in HR (MBA preferred)
- Prior management experience of leading Payroll and compliances for a startup with 4000 employees is required
- Strong leadership, team player, and communication skills across different cultures
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
- Strong client and stakeholder management skills
