Lead - Network & Security - IT Infra
Responsibilities:
- Provides leadership for the Network & Security team, identifying work priorities and ensuring effective communication within the team and with external partners/stakeholders
- Lead the Network & Security team
- Is customer service minded and develops and maintains cordial, effective partnerships with business area and other Information Services employee-partners
- Ensures that industry best practices are followed for the delivery, implementation and maintenance of network systems by employee-partners and contractors
- Use critical thinking and project management discipline, tools and techniques in the day to day execution of responsibilities and in resource and workload planning
- Develop a common understanding of service level expectations with the business areas and regularly review the business areas- measures and impressions of service level delivery; work collaboratively to develop solutions to bridge the gaps
- Clarify performance expectations and help team members achieve success through coaching, mentoring and providing effective and timely feedback, recognizing accomplishments and providing discipline when appropriate
- Ability to handle suppliers and commercial negotiations.
- Well-developed communication skills, with the ability to understand, make recommendations on, and convey technical issues and solutions to a range of stakeholders, both internal and externa
- Ability to identify risks, anticipate issues and create solutions and to resolve problems in relation to project or service delivery.
