This role is with a leading player in the Agriculture industry which is a well-established brand and a market leader in hybrid seeds.
The Marketing lead will be responsible to create a roadmap for all marketing initiatives supporting sales and brand building of the company. He/She will be responsible for building and managing the marketing budget and plan and meeting the financial goals to meet sales volume.
This is a PAN India role which would require you to travel extensively but is based out of Tamil Nadu (non-negotiable).
Please note this role requires a graduate in Agri and MBA in Agri with 12 years of experience.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring Sales Volume are met through marketing initiatives
- Managing the team and ensure the team meets the market share region wise.
- Reducing the overall Marketing Expenses
- Bringing about savings in Market Funding
- System /Process Orientation: Setting up SOPs for sales and Marketing organization including SOP for customers database and telecalling.
- Marketing initiative-new approach implementation.
- Market research study -our products, competition analysis and report.
- The person needs to be very focused on customer service.
To fit the bill, you must be:
- B.Tech (Agriculture) or B.Sc with MBA/PGDM (Agri-Business preferred) from a top B school in Agriculture marketing
Desired Experience:
- 11 years of experience of working in agri input industry
- Strong experience of running marketing team for a leading agri company
- People management skills
Desired Competencies:
- Effective communication skills
- Good Coordination skills
- Ability to travel extensively
- Experience in managing stakeholders
