About the position

- This role would support and build key relations with senior business partners in Personal Investing, the retail business of The Client the ask being partnering with the business to help answer strategic business questions through research and integrated insights and deliver these in the best consultative way possible to senior leaders.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Independently leading and project managing research oriented projects and developing subject-matter expertise

- Interacting with business stakeholders to understand business problems and also throughout the life of the project (kick-off, interim review, final review, presenting findings to multiple and diverse stakeholders etc)

- Build a reputation with partners as a solutioner, consultant and recommendations-driven person

- Independently conduct and drive (across the team) deep analyses across areas, insight generation and final report making

- Partner with senior leaders across Products, Segments to help increase effectiveness of Marketing efforts and Advertising (by leveraging research and data based insights)

- Supervising and quality control, following best practices in project management

- Effective communicate findings, concerns, ideas, project management elements to multiple stakeholders in an offshore-onshore environment

- Involved in training/ learning efforts for the larger organization (tools, technical and cognitive skills, soft skills if need be)

- Adept at knowledge management

- Competent with managing client relationships

Experience and Qualifications:

Education and Experience

- Bachelor’s and post-graduate qualification from top-tier institutions. MBA or equivalent qualification preferred.

- Experience in strategic research, value-added knowledge services analysis, insight-building, consulting with a fair exposure and experience of working directly/indirectly with Marketing function of known organizations in service sectors

- Experience in insights, analytics and strategy function of clients or third-party KPOs. Specific sector exposure- Financial services, retail, hospitality, telecom, FMCG, etc.

Skills/Competencies

- Demonstrated above-par analytical ability

- Flair for quantitative/ qualitative data analyses and interprétation

- Ability to process data to draw insights, answering “so what” questions about data

- Able to synthesize large volumes of data into comprehensible and insightful information

- Comfort with unstructured data and niche industries/ products/ services

- Comfort with making intelligent assumptions to estimate not-so-easily available data points

- Adept in Word, Excel and PowerPoint

- Also able to generate coherent and intelligent frameworks to convey own insights

- High level of intellectual curiosity

- Professional attitude on service quality

- Attention to detail, especially in all aspects of report making from research to preparation of presentation and client interaction

- Driven, self-starter, go-getter, solution-oriented

- Would typically be in the top 10% of his/ her organization, performance-wise
