Lead - Marine Construction

Experience required : 20 years of relevant experience

Educational Qualifications : Relevant maritime and nautical qualifications

Job Purpose :

- The technical correctness of all marine elements of the project execution being carried out;

- Preparedness before actual execution, quality procedures, HSE compliance etc.; and compliance of the Contractor(s) with the contract term and conditions and administration of the contract agreement.

Key Accountabilities :

- Responsible for all engineering and monitoring of the jetty construction (civil part) and dredging program.

- Assist commissioning manager in the marine aspects of the commissioning readiness vis-a-vis port clearances, audits (e.g., ship-shore interface, MTMSA and BLC audits) etc.

- Knowledge in codes and standards, OCIMF, Classification Rules and Regulatory Rules.

- Maintain day to day records of jetty civil works and review as appropriate.

- Coordinate with EPC engineer for daily inspection and QC (civil department) for maintaining design specs

- Responsible for civil construction activities such as jetty/ marine construction/ dredging/ piling/ foundation works

- Responsible for enforcement of HSSE rules.
