Lead/Manager - Payroll/HR Operations - Shipping & Container Transportation Business

About the Client: Our Client is an international shipping and container transportation company and is looking for Lead Payroll and HR operations Manager. This role is based out of Mumbai and reports into the Head HR

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Ensure payroll and post payroll activities are accurately done within the timelines

- Monitor complete payroll in coordination with payroll partner & Handling PT, PF, LWF & gratuity related matters. Update all labor law issues and update the management if any revision therein

- Guide the Management with regards to Compensation & Benefits

- Handle all escalation queries related to HR Operations proactively

- Lead the Annual Salary Review and Bonus exercise with the Business HR Manager

- Lead closure for all post payroll activities

- Ensure the team takes on timely completion of all the pre-hire processes for the new hire to retire HR operational processes

- Ensure timely completion of post joining, confirmation process, step-up reviews

- Lead and execute the Manpower planning, budget, and forecast exercise in collaboration with the Business HR manager

As a successful candidate you come with:

- At least 7 years of payroll related experience

- 12+ years industry experience in HR Management required

- You should have hands on payroll processing and HR ops experience in medium setups. Ramco, SAP, Oracle experience preferred
