Lead Manager (AML Compliance Analytics)

- Build and Deploy Datamarts and other data based solutions as per required to support sustainable analytical solutions within the range of Compliance activities; Execute the assigned projects/ analysis as per the agreed timelines and with accuracy and quality.

- Support Group/Regional Compliance functions through seamless delivery of insights and ad hoc information processing

- Perform regular analysis of data and provide multi-dimensional views of the data to support compliance; Design and deploy visualizations to facilitate senior management decision making at tactical as well as strategic level

- Leverage expertise to identify process improvement opportunities and demonstrate the value proposition of organized and structured data solutions in driving analytical activities

- Maintain regular communication with business to understand changes in requirements, feedbacks and recommendations

- Ensure adherence with all the applicable compliance policies (Data security policy, AML, operational risk, Functional manual, Group Compliance Manual, Audit recommendations, Internal Control requirements, regulatory guidelines etc.) and business standards of Organization as applicable. Take timely action on Audit comments and be able to demonstrate compliance with Internal controls

- Mentor, guide and oversee junior team members as required

- Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science or any other quantitative discipline

- At least 6 years of experience of working in Analytics for BFSI domain. Prior experience of Operations Analytics/ Collections Analytics/ Risk Analytics domain would be strongly preferred.

- Knowledge of Compliance concepts like AML/OFAC, Client screening, FCPA etc will be preferred

- Prior exposure to major vendors in AML space like Norkom, Detica, Actimize etc

- Knowledge of Database programming/Administration and exposure to languages like SQL and PL/SQL is required

- Should be highly skilled in communicating complex ideas.

- Strong analytical thought process and aptitude for problem solving.

- Should be adept in using MS Office with exceptional MS Excel and VBA Skills.
