Lead - Legal Strategic Operation - Law Firm - LLB

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced legal professional to drive the legal operations while leading all legal and compliance projects.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Leading multiple strategic operations and initiatives of the legal team

- Review and draft investment and operations related documents

- Lead the process of gathering and integrating stakeholder input and regularly participate in and/or lead the negotiation process.

- Obtain, organise, and serve as point of contact for due diligence or projects, which will include working with internal clients to gather and confirm information necessary to finalise legal documents

- Serve as liaison for internal stakeholders, law firms, government agencies, vendors, and customers actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify

- Assisting with review, negotiation and closure of contracts with customers, vendors, partners while mitigating the commercial and legal implications of contract clauses, with obligation assessment of contracts and identification of risk mitigation strategies

Experience & Skills:

- LLB from a tier 1 University with minimum of 2-4 years transactional experience in a PE/VC fund or start-up or at a top tier law firm

- Experience across M&A, Fundraising and Corporate Legal in eCommerce and payments

- A combination of exposure to in-house legal affairs along with a legal firm is preferred

- Exceptional drafting and reviewing skills

- Effective communication with geographically dispersed stakeholders (internal & external)

- Self-starter, high ownership and accountability to accomplish projects

- Quick learner with detail orientation

- Ability to work proactively, independently and reliably on multiple projects under tight timelines in a fast-paced environment
