Lead - Label Relations - OTT Player - Music Sector

Label Relations with a Leading OTT Player

Responsibilities :

- Lead, manage, grow and train the existing Label Relations team

- Hire resources in the team as and when required

- Mentor the Label Relations team to reform as point-of-contact for all Music Partners and Labels as well as aggregators (Indian as well as International)

- Act as an intermediary between various internal departments like Editorial, Marketing, Brand Solutions, PR, Reporting, Legal, Operations and Licensing teams for all label interactions

- Liaison between music labels and all relevant internal departments

- Devise methods for efficient incoming and outgoing communication with labels

- Evolve a Content Partner Ranking system

- Design systems to enable smooth functioning and efficient responses to music partners

- Elevate the standards and reputation of the company by building excellent labels relationships

- Keep abreast of the Indian as well as the International Music ecospace

Requirements :

- 10 years of hands on experience in the music space

- Excellent contacts and relationship with Music labels

- Passionate about music and deep knowledge in the business of music

- Excellent English communication skills is a must (verbal and written)

- Highly organized, creative self-starter with experience working on multiple projects at the same time

- Excellent customer service skills

- Care about attention to detail and organization, have a team spirit, strong work ethic, and a sense of humor

- Exceptional time management and prioritization skills

- Telecom and VAS background is an added advantage
