Lead - IT Infrastructure - Insurance

We are currently retained by a well-established Insurance company to hire a Lead- IT Infrastructure for them.

The role will head the company's IT - Infrastructure & Application Maintenance and will ensure robust cyber security measures.

From overseeing vendor relationships to driving contract optimization and coordinating audits, the role will play a pivotal role in maintaining seamless operations and advancing technological capabilities.

Please note: Candidates only from the Insurance background will be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

- Application lifecycle management, ensuring optimal application performance with reliability & collaborate with development teams.

- Lead IT infrastructure and network solutions, ensuring availability, scalability, and security in Cloud & DCs

- Implement and manage IRDA cyber security controls, conduct audits for security standards compliance.

- Manage data centre and cloud infrastructure, also developing and maintaining BCPs for risk mitigation.

- Foster vendor relationships, optimize contracts for cost-effective, quality service delivery.

- Optimize contracts across end-users, branches, data centres & cloud, maximizing organizational value through negotiations.

- Coordinate audits of infrastructure, networks, cyber security & implement corrective actions.

- Set and oversee IT access controls, maintain detailed logs for security and audit needs.

- Manage IT products & align with business needs, coordinate projects for timely delivery and goal alignment.

To fit the bill, you must have:

- 17+ years in IT leadership roles in insurance industry.

- Experience in managing IT infrastructure & application maintenance.

- Deep understanding of IRDA cyber security compliances and controls.

- Proven expertise in vendor management, contract optimization, audits etc.

- Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field; Master's a plus.

Please note that only those who have strong background in heading IT Infrastructure and application in Insurance companies will work.
