Lead - Insights - FMCG (7-8 yrs)

The role will be responsible for :

(1) Identifying Area Insights which are relevant to the Global Categories and

(2) Adapting and validating Global Insights for the brand in ISC Area. This includes identifying and deploying global insights, clearly defined targets, consumer and shopper and expert need states.

- Within the Area, this role refines global consumer insights that are business enhancing - Influencing clear compelling consumer communications.

- Develop the insights to inform high level retail vision and strategy

- This role is required to manage and integrate extensive amounts of information, data and insights ensuring knowledge is applied and leveraged where relevant across the business. This requires an ability to develop hypotheses, and hunches, and to make these come to life for debate and discussion

- Area consumer understanding is a perquisite for success in the role. The job holder will work on projects across the Area

- The job holder must strike the critical balance between a) being an integral, supportive member of the Area Marketing team and b) retaining the necessary distance and objectivity to challenge where necessary

Previous Experience Required :

- 7 years + 


- This is a market standard for this level of Insights Excellence. We are driving a Consumer First Global Marketing Agenda. This role needs to be the face and voice of the consumer in with Area Marketing Heads

- Mix of client side and service side experience at senior levels using both quantitative and qualitative Insights tools

- Category experience is preferred, given the regulated nature of many of our products.

- Highly developed strategic thinking, commercial and marketing skills and experience

- Ability to contribute at a strategic level with the POV of the consumer/shopper/expert.

- Track record of bringing complex projects to successful completion

- Proven track record in identifying research needs, developing and managing insight programs and utilizing insight information in a fast-moving environment.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Must be impactful and assertive.

- Technical Insights skills of the highest standard will be vital to drive the Consumer First agenda.
